This is a weekly meme hosted by J. Kaye's Book Blog. Each week on Monday we tell what we read the previous week and what we plan to read in the upcoming week. I also try to add in what new books are being released this week.
This past weekend I finished Spellbinder by Helen Stringer. I was pretty good. I was pleased. Watch for my review on Tween Tuesday.
What am I going to read next? It's a toss up right now. Help me pick. Should I read Fallen, The Line or Beautiful Creatures? I feel like I should read Fallen since it comes out TODAY! and I've had the ARC for a little while. Might be nice to do the review with the release of the book. BUT I really want to read the other two too. Decisions decisions!
Speaking of Fallen by Lauren Kate- in case you aren't aware it's offical release date is today! So if you've been wanting a copy you should be able to get one. I've heard good and bad reviews, so I'll need to read it myself to decide. My bummer - my ARC has a blank cover, so if I like the book I'll need to buy a copy with the pretty cover :) Here's a bit about it if you're still not aware of this one.
From Goodreads
There's something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.
Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price's attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah, Georgia. He's the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.
Even though Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce--and goes out of his way to make that very clear--she can't let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, she has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret . . . even if it kills her.
Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, Fallen is a page turning thriller and the ultimate love story.
I'm still intrigued by Fallen so I say either that one or Beautiful Creatures which was pretty good.
