This is a nice easy meme hosted at Booking Through Thursday. Each week a question is posted. I answer it. Pretty simple.
This week question is:
What’s the most informative book you’ve read recently?
Hmmmmm, I don't read nonfiction, so I know it's not something there. I guess it would Mudville by Kurtis Scaletta. (my review is here) It is a story about baseball. The main character knew a ton about baseball, and through him I learned a lot that I didn't know. I had no clue how much the catcher and pitcher communicated.
It's a nice lesson I suppose thinking about how it is important to communicate well in a sporting situation. V.Cute blog btw, i love the owls...
ReplyDeleteDoes National Geographic magazines count?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a wonderful book (perfect for this time of year). I've been working on language arts with my middle grade nephew--sounds like it would be perfect for him.
ReplyDeleteI love when you find out little tidbits of information that you had no idea when reading a book!
ReplyDeleteBy the way - lovely blog!
I aim to entertain and also to educate. :-)
ReplyDeleteFun choice! Now I know where to go if I want to learn about baseball, while still being entertained :)
ReplyDeleteBTT
I prefer to get my information out of a novel too, it's like sugar coating a pill :)
