Holiday Break Reading Activity #1!

Here's the activity:
CREATE YOUR DEBUT YA COVER

1 – Go to “Fake Name Generator” or clickhttp://www.fakenamegenerator.com/
The name that appears is your author name.
2 – Go to “Random Word Generator” or clickhttp://www.websitestyle.com/parser/randomword.shtml
The word listed under “Random Verb” is your title.
3 – Go to “FlickrCC” or click http://flickrcc.bluemountains.net/index.php
Type your title into the search box. The first photo that contains a person is your cover.
4 – Use Picnik or similar to put it all together. Be sure to crop and/or zoom in.
5 – Post it to your site. Along with a brief summary of the novel based on the cover you created.

Here's my entry:

Would it matter?
Could her life be changed by this one relationship?
Did she have the strength?
Maya had always believed she knew what to do, that she knew what to believe,
that she should follow the plan before her.
One meeting.  One sentence. One last chance.
Everything she knew was in doubt.
Doubt by first time novelest: Ann Willingham

So what do you think?  Would you be interested enough to pick it up off the bookstore shelf??? I had fun making it :)

Go to the official site for the challenge to see more!

I went back and made it more "book" shape.  Here's that version:

No sure if I would pick this one up in a shop because it looks like the cover for a book in the realism genre and that isn't really me.

I like the synopsis- not sure about the cover. I think its because it's vertical, but that makes it stand out...hummm
