Look at the Goodies! Swap Reveal!

Today I'm very excited to share with you the swap goodies I got in the the Books 'n Bloggers Swap hosted by Chaotic Goddess Swaps.

The idea was to send:
1 Book from your partner’s wishlist
1 Book you love and recommend they read
1 Other book of your choice
Other book-related goodies

My swap partner was Giovanna from Book Coma and she was fantastic!

Here's the fun stuff she sent me!

We Should Hang Out Sometime by Josh Sundquist
Rook by Sharon Cameron
CHOCOLATE!!
Cute, cute socks
Warmer melts - I don't burn candles but I have warmers.  This one is a super yummy smelling one.
Pencils, notepads etc - so pretty!

I loved it all.  I'm super excited to read We Should Hang out.  I hadn't heard of Weird Girl, but it looks fantastic! And I've heard great things about Rook.
One thing I like about swaps is they push me to read something I might not have read or bought before, but yet I know I would like!

Thank you so much Giovanna!!

My swap partner was Maggie from The Novel Orange.

Here's what she sent:

First this is how it arrived.  Super fun!

When opened.
The coffee is called Kicking Horse coffee.  It's really good!!!

And a copy of Everything Everything!!!!! I've wanted this book.

The Broke and The Bookish Secret Santa Unboxing!!! #tbtbsanta

Lately I've jumped in and done a lot of book swap-type events.
The latest was hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and it was a Secret Santa Swap.

Today I'm sharing the wonderful box of goodies I received.
My Secret Santa was Jamie at Fiction Fare!!
I love that blog!

So here's what I saw when I opened the box.
How fun to have everything wrapped!

This cute little item was nestled within the wrapped gifts.  Isn't it adorable?? My 8 year old loves it!

Each package I opened was so fun.  I loved this book ornament! I have tons of owl ones, but no book ones, so this was perfect.

Then I got other goodies!

Look a JAKE RYAN Funko.  For those who grew up in the 80's you'll know the importance of this.

And finally the books!!

NIL Unlocked (wahooo!!!)
Wither (no I haven't read it yet!)
The Pledge!
Life is But a Dream (I've wanted this one for awhile!)

All of it!
(like my daughter trying to get out of the shot)

Thank you so much for everything.  It was fun and awesome and amazing and thoughtful!

Cold Nights Warm Books Holiday Book Swap: What I Got

For the first time in a while I decided to participate in a holiday book swap.  I always think they are fun, but I've gotten burned a few times, so I backed off.  But when I heard that  Emily's blog or Enna's blog was hosting a swap I decided to get in the holiday spirit and join in.
So very glad I did!

Here's what I got!

Some really cute sticker and reading buttons.  I love the buttons.  At work I have to wear a lanyard with my ID, so I'll be able to put them there :)

Janitors
The janitors at Welcher Elementary know a secret, and it's draining all the smarts out of the kids. Twelve year-old Spencer Zumbro, with the help of his classmate Daisy Gullible Gates, must fight with and against a secret, janitorial society that wields wizard-like powers. First in a new series.

The Familiars

Is the kingdom's fate in the hands of an orphan cat?

Running fast to save his life, Aldwyn ducks into an unusual pet store. Moments later Jack, a young wizard in training, comes in to choose a magical animal to be his familiar. Aldwyn's always been clever. But magical? Jack thinks so and Aldwyn is happy to play along.

He just has to convince the other familiars the know-it-all blue jay Skylar and the friendly tree frog Gilbert that he's the powerful cat he claims to be.

Then the unthinkable happens. Jack and two other young wizards are captured by the evil queen of Vastia.

On a thrilling quest to save their loyals, the familiars face dangerous foes, unearth a shocking centuries-old secret, and discover a destiny that will change Vastia forever. Their magical adventure an irresistible blend of real heart, edge-of-your-seat action, and laugh-out-loud humor is an unforgettable celebration of fantasy and friendship.

Plus some cute owl magnetic bookmarks which are my favorite kind of bookmarks!

Thanks!!!!
