- Jill The OWL
- I'm a 7th grade English teacher who fights daily to get my students to read. In class I'm constantly recommending books or talking about the books I've found and read. The O.W.L. is just an extension of that.On this blog I review and highlight books great for 7th graders. I tend to focus on "middle grade lit" (ages 9-12) but in all honesty I focus on books 7th graders read. This means they may be middle grade or young adult. Whooooooo's got something to say???
I have decided to have my blog be an "award free zone". I am always shocked and humbled when someone wants to give my blog an award, and I greatly appriciate each and every one. The problem, I have no time to pass them on so I end up feeling horribly guilty! Because of that I cannot accept awards I can't pass on! I thank you for the thought tho!
