In My Mail Box

It was a good week (not as good as next week will be since I will have book orders in!) I got my books from The Book Depository and books from the book signing.  Here we go!

Bought
(and ok there was a lot of them!)
Lament by Maggie Stiefvater (yes two copies-my signed one stays with me!)
Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
Ballad by Maggie Stiefvater
Summer of the Silk Moths by Margaret Willey
The Sky Above Always Hears Me by Kirsten Cronn-Mills
Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
Unwind by Neil Shusterman
Al Capone Shines My Shoes by Gennifer Choldenko

Free
A couple of booksmarks from Tina Ferraro
A secret spy writing pen from NERDS by Michael Buckley (got that from reading through the Shelf Awarenss newsletter I get daily via email)

Sigh - now just to read them all!

And cuz I know you all wait for it now! My owl purchase of the week.  An owl lanyard for my id at work :)

  5. Awww, Maggie's signature is adorable. You got an amazing batch of books. Are you planning on putting any in the classroom library? (I'm incredibly curious about classroom libraries.)

And I love the weekly owl update. I always think of you now when I see owl stuff!

    Happy reading.

  7. I get most of my owl stuff at Barnes and Noble, Target or places like Michaels. I also find tons on Etsy.com!

Katie- about 98% of my books go into my classroom library. Some don't because, as a teacher, they aren't ones that are appropriate to have out for 7th graders.
